Do you want to work for a globally renowned Independent publisher and be responsible for commissioning and managing a list including a mix of autobiography,
popular science, history, language, narrative non-fiction, gift and humour?

shape and deliver their own list, as well as talented individuals ready to take this next
step up in their career.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for commissioning and managing a list of around 10-15 titles per year
• Ensure (where possible and appropriate) that titles have an international focus that appeals to a wide range of markets
• Spot trends ahead of the curve
• Maintain solid market awareness in order to identify publishing opportunities
• Be a team player who is comfortable presenting their ideas
• Manage key commercial aspects of the role, including negotiating contracts with authors, project costing and budget management
