Acquisitions Associate - Secondary Maths

We have an exciting overseas opportunity for an Acquisitions Associate to join an international educational publisher, where you’ll be based in Singapore! You will be responsible for undertaking market research and developing the publishing programmes for secondary Maths.

Key duties:

• Develop the list and publishing programmes for secondary Maths
• Undertake market research across print and digital products to shape list plans and programmes for the international and Singapore markets
• Development proposals and put forward for approval
• Reach signing targets as set out in the publishing and strategy plans
• Commission, manage and guide authors
• Work closely with sales and marketing department to achieve sales targets

Experience / skills required:

• Excellent market knowledge
• Strong command of the English Language
• Strong eye for detail, with the ability to act quickly on market trends and developments
• Stakeholder engagement
• Ideally Maths degree or equivalent
• Solid experience editing secondary Maths material (teaching would be a bonus)
