Content Project Manager

A global educational publisher has an excellent opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic Content Project Manager to join their HE and ELT Production team. This permanent position will be based in their North Hampshire office.

Key duties:

  • Project manage the production of HE and ELT books from manuscript to delivery of final files
  • Manage all aspects of content production for multi-component titles
  • Manage freelancers and outsourced vendors including typesetters and indexers
  • Check all stages of manuscript, photo briefs and proofs, serving as primary Production contact
  • Work with the Head of Production and project stakeholders, agree on and monitor all project budgets
  • Support in all other production activity as required

Experience / skills required:

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Prior experience working in a book production role
  • Experience in educational publishing would be advantageous
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Knowledge of project management and scheduling software would be desirable
