Digital Producer

An international non-for-profit organisation is looking to recruit a Digital Producer to work on their website providing news and analysis on science and technology for global development. This role is based in Oxfordshire. 

 

Key duties:

  • Ensure visual quality of the website and support digital strategy using SEO and other appropriate techniques
  • Oversee production delivery and maintain schedules
  • Be responsible for efficient delivery of technical content and quality assurance
  • Internal commissioning of graphics and data visualisations
  • Provide basic web technical support ensuring digital product service delivery for website
  • Manage external supplies and consultants and provide production leadership to stakeholders

Experience / skills required:

  • Solid experience in a digital production role in a publishing environment
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Google Analytics and SEO
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • An eye for design
  • An interest or background in science and technology
  • Management experience would be beneficial
