Editor (healthcare)
Do you want to publish content to support healthcare professionals and promote best practice in healthcare? Do you have experience in medical communications or healthcare publishing? This is a great opportunity to join the publications team of this healthcare publisher. Based in Buckinghamshire, this role will oversee publications and mentor a team of junior editors.
Editor Key duties:
- Oversee development and publication of high quality content
- Identify audience needs and commission content to meet these needs
- Build and maintain solid network of industry contacts
- Work with Editorial Director to develop and implement content strategy
- Drive awareness of publications with internal and external stakeholders
- Mentor and develop junior editors
Editor Experience / skills required:
- Life science degree or equivalent experience
- Solid STM or Medical Communications editorial experience
- Strong editorial, proofreading and sub-editing skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and confident networker
- Previous line management would be an advantage but is not necessary
- Healthcare professionals are also encouraged to apply
- Knowledge on InDesign, ABPI Code of Practice and Google Analytics will be advantageous
