ELT Business Manager

A successful ELT publisher is looking for a talented Business Manager to run and grow their product portfolio of magazines and books. This role is based in their East Sussex offices, though an element of Home Working could be considered.

Key duties:

•           Run the product portfolio, with ownership of the complete product lifecycle

•           Create a strategic plan for the portfolio to include magazine and book publishing, online and events

•           Work with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into successful products

•           Budgetary responsibility for the whole portfolio

•           Manage the external team of editors and media sales

•           Work with internal teams, including sales and marketing, digital, content and production/design

Experience / skills required:

•           You must have previous experience of managing a portfolio of products

•           A working knowledge of ELT sector is required for this role

•           You will have proven book commissioning experience

•           Experience of running and developing a digital presence is required for this role

•           A proven commercial understanding of product development is essential

•           You must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
