Foreign Rights Sales Executive
An independent children’s publisher is looking for a Foreign Rights Sales Executive to join their team in Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about publishing to help grow their renewed and newly launched brand names. This is a permanent, full-time position, however part-time will also be considered.
Key duties:
- Sell co-edition and translation rights across children’s lists
- Maximise rights sales turnover and meet targets
- Manage key accounts
- Identify competitors, industry trends and new business
- Target sales growth opportunities for international markets
- Negotiate on budgets with buyers and managers
- Meet individual sales targets and KPI’s
- Undertake sales trips
Experience / skills required:
- Previous sales experience with management of customer accounts
- Strong communication, negotiation and administration skills
- Excellent written and spoken English with a fluency in a second language desirable
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple projects
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Organisational, time management and strategic planning skills
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
