Marketing Executive

A professional / STM publisher and membership organisation is looking for a Marketing Executive to join their friendly team in Hertfordshire. In this role you will support the marketing team in creating and delivering marketing campaigns with a focus on Academic Journals and Books. This is a 12 month FTC role suitable for an enthusiastic marketing candidate looking to further their career in academic publishing.

Key duties:

  • Support the marketing team with the delivery of online and offline marketing material, utilising the full marketing mix.
  • Produce and launch email marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain good relationships with designers, printers and other external suppliers.
  • Attend industry events and conferences.
  • Support the design and production of key marketing materials, including writing material when required.

Experience / skills required:

  • Previous digital and direct marketing experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail, copywriting, and proofreading skills.
  • Previous marketing experience within academic publishing is highly desirable.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage a challenging workload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external colleagues.
