Maths and Science Consultant, Secondary (Home based)

An exciting opportunity to join a highly reputable educational publisher as secondary Maths and Science consultant. You will be developing two new subject areas for the publisher’s well-established and bestselling revision guide list. This role will be carried out from home with occasional trips to the London office for meetings when required.

 

Key duties:

  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis within maths and science revision guides areas
  • Commissioning authors according to an agreed publishing brief
  • Advising on materials in development
  • Setting up freelance editorial teams

Experience / skills required:

  • Substantial UK classroom teaching experience of secondary Maths and Science
  • Interest in market research, published materials, and the development of two new subject areas
  • Good networking skills and the ability to identify potential writers in the field
  • Previous publishing experience would be an advantage
