Publicity Manager

A leading independent trade publisher in central London is looking for a talented Publicity Manager to work on their sport and lifestyle non-fiction lists. This is an excellent opportunity to work with world famous brands and celebrated authors and would suit an experienced publicist who is looking for an exciting new challenge.

Key duties:

  • Create innovative and fully integrated publicity campaigns for non-fiction imprints
  • Negotiate with print and broadcast media on reviews, features and interviews
  • Work with Rights colleagues to secure high profile serialisation deals
  • Provide outstanding author care to authors and agents and accompany them to events and media appearances
  • Arrange author interviews, tours, signings and festival appearances
  • Produce strategy reports on new and potential acquisitions

Experience / skills required:

  • Publicity experience in non-fiction trade publishing is essential
  • Experience pitching and securing coverage in mainstream print and broadcast media
  • First class communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working closely with authors and agents
  • An interest in sport, lifestyle and wellbeing will be advantageous
