Publisher, ELT (Italy)
We have a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Publisher to join the based ELT division of a prestigious educational publisher. You will take on a strategic role managing a team of four and delivering multi-component ELT courses for the Italian market. This role is based in Italy, ideally in their offices in Turin and would suit someone with excellent knowledge of the Italian education market.
Publisher, ELT Key duties:
- With senior colleagues, identify opportunities and plan the strategic development of allocated area
- Lead the research, commissioning and development of products
- Manage and develop an editorial team to deliver multi-component publishing programs
- Work with Senior Managing Editors to deliver materials at required quality, on schedule and to budget
- Responsible for accurate budgeting of projects and monitoring performance against budget
Publisher, ELT Experience / skills required:
- Established editorial and commissioning experience in multi-component ELT publishing
- Proven management and team building skills and a diplomatic approach
- Experience of the Italian market and the state education system in Italy
- CELTA/TESOL qualification or equivalent desirable
- You will be autonomous, self-motivated and a strong negotiator
