Rights Manager (Chinese Market)

A London-based English language content provider is currently looking for a Rights Manager to bring their innovative products to a global audience. This is a fresh and exciting opportunity for an experienced Rights professional who has solid experience in the Chinese market. 

Key duties:

  • Manage all new and existing foreign rights for print products
  • Work with Operations and Marketing team to arrange foreign rights
  • Negotiate imprint licensing deals and foster global distribution
  • Contribute to pitch potential partners, distributors, publishers and other sales channels
  • Attend major book and trade fairs to promote the products within the industry

Experience / skills required:

  • Proven experience negotiating foreign rights and licensing deals in Chinese market
  • Previous experience working on children’s or illustrated books will be advantageous
  • Knowledge on a foreign language will be a plus
  • Analytically and commercially savvy
  • Confident communicator and willingness to do occasion travel
