Senior Academic Partnership Manager

A leading academic publisher is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Academic Partnership Manager to lead the sales and promotion of their online courses and university partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets across the UK & Ireland. This role can be Oxford or home based and will require regular travel across the territory.

Key duties:

  • Sell online courses to institutions and grow the client portfolio
  • Develop and implement strategy in line with the business development model
  • Use initiative to manage customer pipelines and prioritise promotional activity
  • Establish, maintain and develop relationships with senior academic and administration staff
  • Undertake market research to explore prospective new business opportunities
  • Be responsible for the daily management and training of the UK & Ireland sales team

Experience / skills required:

  • Significant experience in a related marketing or sales role, ideally within education
  • A demonstrated consultative approach towards marketing
  • A solid understanding of the higher education sector would be highly desirable
  • First class interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise
  • Familiarity using SalesForce to create and monitor pipelines
