Are you looking for your first or next role in Recruitment?  Do you want to immerse yourself in the exciting world of publishing whilst helping others to achieve their goals and ambitions?

We are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant who has a passion for our industry and a desire to be the best at what they do. You will work well in a team and have an appetite for success. You will be working alongside some of the best Recruiters in the industry and with some of the biggest names in publishing.

You will join us in our Oxford office, based in Summertown, but some travel to the head office in London may be required.

The Person

We are looking for sales focused individuals with some commercial or sales experience and an interest/knowledge of publishing. You will have a good work ethic and a confident nature. With excellent customer service and relationship building strategies, you will need to communicate effectively with both clients and candidates.  You must be equally comfortable both on the phone and in face to face meetings and be able to adapt your style as necessary.

The Role

Initially the role will be focussed on sourcing the best candidates for our clients and working closely with one of our Senior Consultants/Team Leaders who will train and coach you through your first 12 months, when you will be promoted to Consultant.  With access to our fantastic extensive database, job boards and social media channels you will find and approach potential candidates at all levels and in all areas of publishing.  You will spend time learning the market as well as the complete 360 recruitment role, including business development and account management. You will be taught business development techniques, candidate management, LinkedIn training and interviewing techniques. You will be networking through LinkedIn and other social media channels, posting job ads, interviewing and shortlisting. You will then move onto winning your own business, negotiating terms and attending client meetings and industry networking events.

We provide a competitive commission and benefit structure, a friendly and supportive environment and full training.
