Campaign Manager

We are looking for a Campaign Manager to join the forward-looking marketing department of an independent professional publisher. This role is based in their East Sussex offices and  you will get the opportunity to manage your own campaigns and plan strategy for their online products and events. As a product lead for their events portfolio, this is ideal for someone with solid end to end marketing experience looking for a step up into a manager position.

Key duties:

  • Develop and manage all campaign activity for Online and Events
  • Manage all marketing spend and ensure budgets are adhered to
  • Research and analyse the market/ competitors to measure effectiveness of campaigns to inform strategy
  • Compile and report channel analysis reports to feedback to the company
  • Ensure all product updates are communicated regularly to the market
  • Liaise with authors and keep them informed of marketing activity, in order to maximise their engagement and support
  • Manage marketing and updates to their websites
  • Write engaging and accurate copy which is compelling in all channels

Experience / skills required:

  • You must have solid end to end marketing campaign experience from a B2B, Law or Academic marketing publishing background
  • Budget management, planning and marketing analysis experience is essential
  • Experience in digital marketing and design skills are highly desired
  • You will have proven excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and very good people skills are essential for this role
  • A marketing qualification is essential
  • Excellent copy writing and content writing skills
  • You will be adaptable and have the ability to manage a varied and busy workload
