Account Manager (Production)
A Global Book Printer and Packaging manufacturer is looking for an Account Manager to join their small and friendly team in their UK office in Berkshire. You will be the main contact for customers using their print services, dealing with enquiries from concept to printed product. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid experience in book or 4-colour print production looking to move into a customer-facing role.
Key duties:
- Manage and develop relationships with existing customers
- Oversee the smooth running of book and paper production projects
- Negotiate contracts with customers and grow existing business
- Draw up accurate specs based on customer requirements
- Liaise between clients and the oversea office to facilitate smooth running of projects to schedule and brief
Experience / skills required:
- Must have some previous production experience in a book publishing or printing environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and consultative customer care approach
- Ability to successfully manage a portfolio of accounts with confidence
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong IT skills with experience of using a CRM system advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- A full clean UK driving licence is essential as you will be travelling to visit customers across the UK as well as abroad
