Business Development Executive

A leading independent publisher is looking for a Business Development Executive to promote their legal, Accountancy and Tax digital products to new and existing customers in London. You can be home-based or based in their Oxford office but you will be required to travel around your territory.

Key duties:

•        Visit new and existing customers to grow print subscriptions and identify upselling opportunities/ secure new business with prospects
•        Arrange, prepare, and give presentations to customers
•        Build strong relationships with customers and develop an understanding of their needs 
•        Identify significant new business opportunities
•        Plan strategies and tactics to win new business
•        Use CRM and market data to optimise efficient use of time and resources

Experience / skills required:

•        A proven track record of consultative sales experience, ideally in a commercial B2B Publishing environment
•        First class communication and presentation skills
•        Excellent new business sales skills with proven ability to close new deals via telephone 
•        Self-motivated and organised with good time management skills
•        Excellent IT skills and experience of using SalesForce would be an advantage
