Course Developer
Do you have editorial experience in professional or educational publishing? Are you keen to use your editing and commissioning skills to develop learning materials? We are looking for a Course Developer to join this leading global provider of qualification training in South London. The successful candidate will project manage course books, online e-learning courses, classroom teaching materials, etc.
Key duties:
- Compile and edit core learning materials, ensuring they are relevant, accurate and engaging
- Support commissioning activity and assist in the research and design of new and existing products
- Oversee development process making sure deadlines and budgets are met
- Liaise with colleagues and projects stakeholders
- Keep up-to-date with learning technologies and respond to customers’ feedback
Experience / skills required:
- Editorial experience in professional/educational publishing
- Keen interest in online learning/training technology and publishing is required
- Editing and rewriting experience is required with strong level of written accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and the ability to adopt house-style and liaise with diverse audience
- Strong organisation and time-management, with the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
- A self-motivated and problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work on own initiative on long-term projects
