Head of Marketing (Maternity Cover)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing to join a leading trade publisher in London for a maternity cover contract. Working on their commercial adult fiction and non-fiction titles, you will work with bestselling brands and authors. Previous experience working on high profile marketing campaigns and managing a team is essential.

Key duties:

  • Oversee marketing activities across a list of commercial adult fiction and non-fiction books
  • Plan and implement innovative marketing campaigns for high profile brands and authors
  • Provide strategic and creative input to pitches and projects
  • Manage the marketing team
  • Keep up to date with adult publishing and consumer trends

Experience / skills required:

  • Proven experience running high profile marketing campaigns in a consumer publishing or media environment
  • Proven experience managing a team
  • Excellent leadership and decision making skills
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills
  • A commercial mindset and good head for analytics
  • Real passion for books and media
