Medical Editor

A specialist healthcare publisher based in Buckinghamshire is looking for an enthusiastic Medical Editor to join their expanding team. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about science communications and are looking to work on a range of projects.

Key duties:

• Leading a range of print and digital projects through to approval stage.
• Liaising with a range of clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Supporting the Editorial Manager with the training of junior editors.
• Checking the quality and accuracy of written content.
• Following and complying with the ABPI Code of Practice.

Experience / skills required:

• Life Sciences Degree or higher with an understanding of disease area terminology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven interest in the pharmaceutical industry and science communication.
• Editorial experience gained from working in a medical communications agency or an STM publisher is highly desired.
• Knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice.
• Digital project development experience on healthcare topics is highly desired.
