Publicity Manager

A bestselling publisher of children’s trade books in central London has an opening for a Publicity Manager. You’ll manage campaigns for picture books, non-fiction, fiction and YA titles and will work with high-profile children’s authors.  

Key duties:
•           Create and implement campaigns for picture books, non-fiction, fiction and YA titles
•           Work with high-profile established authors as well as new authors 
•           Build strong relationships with print, broadcast and online media
•           Work alongside event and festival organisers to promote authors and the brand
•           Manage campaign budgets
•           Develop new partnerships to promote the lists
•           Collaborate with internal editors and marketing colleagues 
•           Attend editorial meetings and assist with acquisition pitches
•           Stay informed of new trends and opportunities in the children’s book market 

Experience / skills required:
•           Publicity experience in children’s book publishing is essential 
•           Experience creating and leading integrated campaigns 
•           Good social media knowledge
•           A genuine passion for children’s books
