Marketing & Publicity Executive

Salary: between £25,000 and £27,000 pa, depending on experience

Are you a forward-thinking and curious person with a passion for commercial fiction and data-driven analysis, looking to work with an innovative and ambitious company? Do you want to make your mark working with some of the world’s best storytellers and push their books to be market leaders?

Canelo is a flourishing independent publisher based in London. We are never afraid to try new things and want to challenge publishing industry norms. We enjoy working in undervalued areas of publishing and rejuvenating them for new audiences.

This role will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Director with a focus on driving data-led campaigns across our broad list of commerical fiction. We have published several bestselling and acclaimed authors, but are looking to further build on our success. As Marketing & Publicity Executive you will handle the day-to-day running of our social media accounts, produce marketing and publicity materials, identify new marketing opportunities and analyse campaign data. You will be a champion for all our authors, and think of new and creative ways for us to push our books into the hands of readers.

We are open about your experience and background, but ideally this job would suit someone who already has some experience of a marketing or publicity role.
