Sales Coordinator

Carlton Books is seeking a Sales Coordinator for its English Language Contract Sales department.
 

Based in Central London, Carlton is a leading independent publisher of illustrated non-fiction, publishing widely in both Adult and Children’s categories. Reporting to the English Language Contract Sales Director, the key responsibilities would involve working with the entire team to maximise sales efforts throughout English Language markets around the world. Key markets are USA, Canada, Australia and South East Asia. 
 

The role requires great attention to detail, as it is pivotal in steering books through production from concept to delivery. You will also support the team with book fairs, trips, follow up, organising meetings, setting up costings, finalising contracts and preparing sales material. You will be required to travel to the Frankfurt Book Fair. 
 

The candidate should be self-motivated, with excellent communication skills, very well organised and keen to learn in a fast paced creatively charged environment. This position is ideal for a candidate with one year of publishing experience or relevant qualifications.
