DK is the world’s leading illustrated reference publisher and part of Penguin Random House. We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative digital marketer, with at least 3 years’ experience, to work in our busy Marketing and PR team.
You will have the opportunity to work across DK’s diverse publishing list – from the hugely successful Star Wars titles to the highly-acclaimed cookery and lifestyle books with high-profile authors and brands, and from our first-class illustrated reference and children’s list through to our bestselling travel guides.
You will be responsible for:
- Shaping DK's email data strategy and growth tactics as well as writing and scheduling campaigns along with your report. A strong background in email marketing is essential.
- Inspiring direct and affiliate purchase on dk.com through email, social and search activity, coordinating campaigns alongside the team's wider PR and marketing activity.
- Driving ROI through activity on and off the site.
- Social media content, engagement and increasing social traffic to the website organically and via social advertising (experience of Facebook Ads is essential).
- Content marketing (all formats including video) on social, email and web, as we look to inspire consumers to purchase our books.
- Managing the Junior Web Editor.
Excellent knowledge of digital marketing best practice across email and content marketing (including video) and paid search is a must as well as experience of working on larger marketing and PR campaigns.
Reporting to the Marketing and PR Director, you will be a confident and highly-motivated individual able to create and present digital strategies for approval and enjoy presenting both internally and externally.
