Commissioning Editor

Duckworth, an independent publisher based in central London, is looking to appoint an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Commissioning Editor.

The successful candidate will have experience in and talent for commissioning titles from their own ideas as well having a strong network of agent contacts. Reporting to the Publishing Manager in London and to the MD in NYC, the Commissioning Editor will acquire and edit a strong and innovative list of eclectic titles encompassing mostly non-fiction including history, popular science, memoir, film, pop culture, and other trending categories as well as some fiction.
