Assistant Editor/Editor, Ebury
Ebury is the UK’s largest dedicated non-fiction publisher. Our imprints are united by a curiosity and passion for what’s new – the fresh voice that ignites a spark.
We are looking for an Assistant Editor or Editor to join our narrative non-fiction team. This is a newly-created role focusing on smart thinking and business books, as well as some serious non-fiction (including history, politics and popular science). Authors on the list include Adam Grant, James O’Brien, Rory Sutherland and Reed Hastings.
Whether you are an experienced Editor or an ambitious Editorial Assistant, you will relish helping authors shape their manuscripts, delivering compelling books on tight schedules, and propelling them through design, marketing, publicity, sales and into the world. You will be comfortable with practical personal development as well as big ideas, and able to handle entrepreneurs, CEOs and academics. You will also generate creative ideas and leads, with scope to develop your own commissioning.
Get in touch by 14th January and tell us how you’ll make this role your own, and be part of the future of non-fiction.
