Ebury is the UK’s largest dedicated non-fiction publisher. We are the home of Yotam Ottolenghi, Charlie Mackesy and Mary Berry. This is a time of growth for our award-winning illustrated list and we’re looking for a talented editor to commission.  

From best-selling food and drink to standout gift, mindfulness and wellbeing, our Ebury Press and POP Press books are united by unique voices and high-quality content, which is beautifully communicated through eye-catching design.

You’ll have your finger on the pulse, and will always be thinking, ‘is there a book in that?’ And if there is, you’ll be able to shape that concept into a proposal, know which audience you’re going to sell it to and how to package it to the highest possible standard.

This role will suit someone with a passion for commissioning.  You may have recently started your commissioning journey or have some experience already – we can offer the next step as part of a close-knit and supportive team.

You’ll have a genuine interest in food and drink, wellbeing, gift and humour, and will be brimming with ideas on what’s going to be the next genre to pop up, or the new food talent to break through and how you’d present the book as a potential bestseller.
