Regional Sales Account Manager – East Anglia

Faber & Faber is an independent publishing house celebrating its 90th year in 2019 and is proud to be part of The Independent Alliance - a coalition of fifteen independent publishers who share a common vision of original, diverse publishing, editorial excellence, innovation in campaigns and commercial success.

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and sales driven candidate to join an experienced team of sales professionals selling across all the Independent Alliance lists. Based in the East Anglia area the contract is for 2 days a week for 8 months starting as soon as possible.

The core responsibilities of the role will be to manage all the accounts on the area with targeted selling and strategic planning plus working with authors and bookshops to create a vibrant events scene. The focus will be to grow turnover with existing customers and seek out new opportunities.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic reader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a desire to succeed. They must also hold a full clean driving licence.
