A rare opening has come up with a London based award-winning non-fiction adult & children’s trade publisher for a talented salesperson to join as the Senior UK Sales Manager.
Reporting to the UK & International Sales Director, joining an experienced sales team and your role is to look after the UK Key Accounts including Waterstones, you’ll also look after the leading supermarket Accounts as well as other high-profile key accounts.
You’ll be selling a wide range of commercial adult & childrens trade books, popular mass market non-fiction trade reference titles, including a number of bestsellers.
This is in our view a super new opportunity to join a very non-corporate publishing environment. You don’t necessarily need to have full knowledge of every UK Key Account, but you will need a good reputation and experience selling to Waterstones and an understanding of how other trade Key Accounts are managed.
You’ll need to be a self-starter with super communication skills, be commercially minded with a can-do attitude, and importantly you’ll need to be a good team player. You’ll have one Sales Executive reporting directly to you.
This sales role would suit either experienced Key Account Manager/Sales Managers or a very capable and hungry salesperson who has not yet had the career opportunity at this level, but who does have the drive and an excellent grounding in Key Accounts.
