Bookseller

Heywood Hill, one of London’s leading independent bookshops, is looking for an outstanding bookseller to join our excellent team.

Are you knowledgeable, versatile and ambitious? Our business is expanding and rapidly. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, an eye for detail and a winning personality, keen to roll up their sleeves at one of the most innovative and stimulating bookshops in the world. The successful candidate will work in our busy Mayfair shop but also help choose books for our monthly subscription service, A Year in Books, and assist in delivering other initiatives. Subtle but effective hand-selling skills and good book knowledge are therefore essential, and social media or other marketing experience would be a plus. We are looking for someone who enjoys working at a high capacity whilst juggling a variety of responsibilities calmly and effectively. Salary dependent on experience.
