You will ideally have experience of working in Children’s publishing or a strong interest in Children’s book publishing.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a strong team player who is commercially astute and aware, but also someone who is interested in publishing, loves children’s books and can talk about them with conviction and passion.

You’ll need to have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, an ability to multi-task and prioritise, and an enthusiasm for working in a fast-moving commercial environment.

The key tasks of the role will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • To be the champion for Hachette Children’s to your territories and to the Group International Sales team
  • To work closely with the Non-trade Sales team to create territory, or customer specific product when required, to increase sales across markets.

You’ll need to be proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and ideally have some experience with data analysis.

What we offer

This is a varied and exciting role, where you’ll be working on some of the best brands in Children’s books and looking for new opportunities.

This role is based in our London office, and you will be part of an experienced team in a creative and dynamic working environment.
