Business Development Manager - Open Location

Calling all ELT and international education publishing professionals! A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven, ambitious and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join an innovative content services company that works with ELT and education publishers worldwide. This is a home-based role, with flexibility on location, and which offers a rolling 6 month contract and excellent benefits.

The main remit of the Business Development Manager is to help expand market share and grow revenue by developing new publishing clients across the globe and across the range of publishing services offered, including: content creation, design, editorial, and delivery. Working to ambitious growth targets & budgets, the Business Development Manager will source contacts & develop relationships with education publishers, and oversee all elements of the promotion and presentation stage, and take responsibility for the conversion of prospects into long-term valuable clients. The Business Development Manager will work closely with Content Directors, located in different territories, to engage in background research, develop a keen understanding of the relevant education publishing sector, and in preparing presentations, project proposals, and tender responses. They will play a key role in helping to shape the company's long term growth strategy.

The Business Development Manager will ideally have a background in ELT (whether from a content-focused, consultative sales, product or marketing role), and an understanding and experience in global education publishing. You will be a self-starter and an excellent team player, capable of devising and executing business development plans and working closely with the senior management team. In addition to an in-depth knowledge of the education publishing industry, commercial acumen, market knowledge, and possessing good networks, you will be someone with proven experience in achieving business growth.
