We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join the team at Jack Arts. Working in a permanent team of 3 directly alongside our sister agencies Diabolical and Jack, you will manage and develop your own portfolio of clients as well as actively seek out new clients and new briefs. We work with some fantastic clients including Penguin Random House, Whitechapel gallery, Barbican and AKA.

We need someone who is a confident presenter, networker and sales person. Someone who is excited and knowledgeable about the UK art scene, the heady world of outdoor and street culture. Someone who can create strategies to approach individual clients to sell in our services. For the right person there is scope to learn some of this on the job.

You will enjoy generating ideas as part of the team and feel confident translating those ideas into proposals, budgets and campaigns. You will never let go of your campaigns working on the sales, planning and delivery elements of all campaigns. It is a hands-on role with scope for development and an exciting opportunity to work a great group of colleagues and clients.

Reporting to the Head of Jack Arts you will be responsible for:

Account Management

  • Manage existing and new clients
  • Write proposals and presentations in response to briefs
  • Develop client relationships both existing and new
  • Develop experiential, stunt and ambient ideas as part of the team
  • Provide excellent client service
  • Maintain excellent client relationships
  • Identify and contact potential new clients.
  • Arrange presentations to introduce our services and assess client’s needs.
  • Ensure all introductory meetings are followed up, carrying out any action discussed.

 Project Management

  • In conjunction with the production team you will plan, manage and implement campaigns
  • Write and manage budgets to ensure profits are maintained
  • As part of a team deliver problem free, well-planned projects to the highest standard
  • Support other team members as and when required

 Overall

  • Join our growing business and help our development as the leading creative out of home agency for the arts

Required Skills and Experience

  • A proven ability to sell in ideas and concepts
  • Experience working within the arts field
  • Familiar with working to sales targets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Great presentation skills - verbal and written
  • An ability to build on and develop strong client relationships
  • Media and advertising savvy
  • Project management skills
  • An understanding and passion for the arts
  • Ability to plan and manage your own workload
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Would be nice:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of outdoor advertising
  • Experience of experiential and ambient implementation

Competitive salary depending on experience  (circa £32k+)
