Senior Designer, Ladybird Education

Are you looking for a new challenge within education publishing, in a creative and supportive environment?

We are looking for a creative and organised Senior Designer to work on our rapidly growing list. You’ll have experience of costing projects and a passion for producing strong designs that will enhance the reading experience of our learners around the world. The role will involve setting the look and style of new series, working with the internal Design Manager and external packagers and freelancers to deliver each project, responding to tight deadlines whilst remaining patient amongst ever-changing demands.

You will be working within a dedicated editorial and design team in a fast-paced and vibrant environment. As such, you must be open-minded and flexible, a talented communicator and able to work as part of a dynamic team whilst managing time effectively and handling competing priorities.

What you’ll get in return is the opportunity to work with a wealth of content from across Penguin Random House, producing effective designs across a range of series and the chance to make connections with colleagues from across the business.

It’s an exciting time to join Ladybird – please apply with a PDF that showcases the three examples of your work that you are most proud of, a CV and a short letter which tells us why this role caught your eye (both also in PDF format).

The closing date for this opportunity is midnight on Sunday 6th October 2019.
