Design Assistant – Children’s Books

Little Tiger Group has two openings for entry-level design roles. This is an ideal opportunity for an aspiring designer to join a creative team in a varied role, working across picture books, non-fiction, novelty and fiction. You will be extremely organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask. The Design Assistant is integral to the creative team, working to support the designers and liaising with editorial, production, sales and marketing. You will be responsible for handling new editions of our books, as well as reprints and eBooks. Tasks will also include preparing files for print, checking proof material, preparing sales and publicity content to brief, doing image research and contributing to creative development meetings. Proficiency in Creative Suite is essential, as is a passion for children’s book design.
