Key Account Sales Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s fastest growing travel publisher. You will be responsible for managing key relationships with book retailers, wholesalers and a freelance sales force to maximise sales whilst also growing new business. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised, passionate sales person and team player with good admin and communication skills and a can-do attitude.

Key duties:

  • Manage a range of existing customers
  • Develop new business opportunities outside the traditional book trade
  • Manage and motivate a team of freelance sales reps
  • Regularly report on activities and monthly sales figures
  • Provide customer and competitor feedback
  • Work closely with the internal sales & marketing team to enhance existing products and develop new ideas
  • Attend relevant trade events

Experience / skills required:

  • Proven sales track record
  • Knowledge and interest in the book / travel industry is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently
