Online Key Account Manager, Cornerstone

Our Sales team are on the hunt for an Online Key Account Manager to craft bold, ambitious strategic plans for our publishing divisions.

Your mission will be to manage the relationship with key retailers and maximise turnover. And you’ll do that by working closely with the team to proactively drive sales opportunities and connect our customers with our authors, brands and books.

As the Online Key Account Manager you’ll manage our print, eBook and audio relationships with our fast growing online retailers such as Amazon.  You’ll need a strong interest in online commerce, marketing and pricing, and a curious and entrepreneurial brain. Ultimately you’ll be strongly motivated to drive demand for our books, and exposure for our authors.

Relationships are at the core of this role, and you’ll link in with other internal account managers to create a reliable experience for our customers and common strategic goals. You’ll need excellent communication skills and will be confident in leading internal meetings, communicating strategic developments and growth strategies to senior members of the Cornerstone division.

You’ll use your analytical head to get to grips with divisional sales performance as well as competitor market data, and then bring that marketplace expertise back to your colleagues.

If you’re up for the challenge, here’s what you’ll need:

You’ll be either an experienced Key Account Manager or a Sales Executive ready to take a step up, with proven customer relationships and accounts experience. With a keen focus on the commercial side of the business, and your sense of adventure, you're always thinking of creative ways to make our successes even bigger.

It goes without saying that you’ll be able to connect quickly with customers and colleagues alike to build trust, get people onside and to listen to what you have to say.

If you’re interested please apply with a CV and Cover Letter by midnight on Friday 8th March.
