Transworld Publishers is an industry-leading publisher of international No 1 bestselling, award-winning writers. This year our Doubleday imprint, home to Kate Atkinson, Bill Bryson, Paula Hawkins, Adam Johnson, Rachel Joyce, John Lewis-Stempel, Barney Norris, Donal Ryan, Diane Setterfield and Curtis Sittenfeld amongst others, celebrates 30 years of literary publishing.
Our award-winning Publicity team is looking for a brilliant publicist who can work closely with the team at Doubleday to bring campaigns to life, from inception through implementation and beyond. You will need an extensive proven network of media and literary festivals and events contacts, impressive experience working with high profile individuals, and superb communication skills. You will work closely with literary authors and agents, as well as colleagues in editorial, marketing and sales, so we are looking for a real team player who can remain calm under pressure.
Working across a range of print, digital, broadcast and radio, you will have a track record of successful, creative campaigns and a thorough knowledge of integrated PR for both fiction and non-fiction publishing. The ideal candidate will also have strong experience organising and managing events and book tours.
This role would suit someone who has an extensive and proven network of media, literary and bookseller contacts and who thrives on engaging with online communities and influencers and is constantly thinking of upcoming trends.
