Pan Macmillan is one of the largest trade publishers in the UK and is part of the Macmillan group, which operates in over 70 countries worldwide. We have recently been awarded Publisher of the Year for the second time in three years.

Working within the International Sales team, the International Communications Manager will promote our incredible list of authors and imprints (including Pan, Macmillan, Picador, Macmillan Children’s Books, Bluebird, Collector’s Library and Kingfisher) across all territories.

We are looking for a creative, passionate, driven and self-motivated Communications Manager, with an interest in working across both marketing and publicity, and a desire to learn about international markets.  The role reports into the Head of International Sales and involves working closely with not only the Pan Macmillan international offices and complete international customer base, but with all departments internally, from editorial to design, across both children’s and adult divisions.

The role also incorporates working to promote our core brands, including Julia Donaldson, Jeffrey Archer, David Baldacci and Ken Follet to name a few!

The successful candidate will be highly organised and possess excellent marketing and publicity skills. Previous experience of working within marketing and / or publicity in publishing is desirable.

This role is based at our offices in Kings Cross, London.
