International Sales
Pan Macmillan UK is one of the largest general book publishers in the UK, with imprints including Macmillan, Mantle, Pan, Picador, Bluebird, Bello, Macmillan Children's Books and Macmillan Digital Audio. Pan Macmillan is part of the worldwide Macmillan Publishing Group.
The International Sales team represents not only our own major brands (including Pan, Macmillan, Picador, Macmillan Children’s Books, Bluebird, Collector’s Library and Kingfisher), but those of our sister company, Macmillan USA (including St Martin’s Press, Tor, Griffin, Henry Holt, Flat Iron, Farrar Straus and Giroux), and of our carefully selected agency lists.
We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated and passionate sales manager to maintain and develop our existing customer base in Southern Europe and Scandinavia. The role reports into the Heads of Sales EMEA and is responsible for planning the sales strategy of our entire portfolio of house and agency imprints within the region, in print, digital and audio.
The successful candidate will be highly organised and possess excellent negotiation and presentation skills. Previous sales experience is desirable as well as a demonstrable appetite for the commercial aspects of publishing.

The position is for a fixed term of 10 - 12 months and is based at our offices in Farringdon London. The role will involve frequent travel to the sales territory, as well as to international trade fairs
