Pan also includes thriving SFF and Crime lists and publishes a variety of non-fiction including the major autobiography to come this year from Elton John, books from Louis Theroux to Kevin Keegan and a growing business books list.
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, commercially aware and highly organized marketeer to join Pan Macmillan's energetic, award-winning Communications team. As Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Manager you will be responsible for planning and implementing effective, audience-appropriate tactics to promote a wide range of commercial fiction and non-fiction, from high-potential debuts to established, market-leading brands. You'll be passionate about great communication, and understand how this works across everything from the 3D package of a book through to great creative for outdoor and social. You’ll have a strong design sense and the ability to brief effective creative as well as to write and brief copy for a range of audiences. You'll be comfortable working across a variety of channels including social, print and partnerships and you will have experience of managing your own campaign spends.
Publishing experience is not required but marketing expertise and a passion for books is.
