Assistant Editor, Ebury Press & Pop Press

Did you spot unicorns, house plants or colouring books before everyone else? Do you have a passion for making beautiful books? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

Ebury is the UK’s largest dedicated non-fiction publisher. The Ebury Press and Pop Press imprints publish some of the biggest names and the hottest lifestyle trends in non-fiction across food and drink, wellbeing, creativity and humour. We need you to have proven experience taking mono and illustrated books from concept to printed copy, excellent editing and proofreading skills, meticulous attention to detail, thoughtful communication and problem-solving skills and a good eye for design.

You will be responsible for overseeing books through the whole publishing process, liaising with authors, agents, photographers, illustrators, copyeditors, proofreaders and designers.

If you have worked in a similar publishing environment, ideally with a mix of lifestyle book experience, please apply by 27th May with a CV and cover letter, and let us know about what recent non-fiction lifestyle books you wished you’d worked on and why.
