Designer, Puffin Fiction & Non-Fiction – Penguin Random House Children’s

We are looking for a highly creative, imaginative and experienced middleweight designer to work on books covering a fabulous variety of leading authors, illustrators and brands, plus brilliant emerging talent.

We publish a broad range of titles with stand-out design at the core of our success. These include contemporary fiction from 6+ to YA, timeless classics as well as a growing and diverse list of innovative non-fiction. 

You will have a passion for design, exceptional type skills, a nose for unearthing new illustrator talent plus real commercial awareness. And you will have the ability to convert these in to exciting, clever packages ensuring that each book has the best possible cover to reach its widest possible audience.

Fluency in the use of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and the ability to work well under pressure and collaboratively are also essential.
