VINTAGE is looking for a Senior Press Officer with proven publishing experience to join its award-winning publicity team. This role will be responsible for planning and implementing outstanding and strategic publicity campaigns for an exciting, enviable range of fiction and non-fiction from across the VINTAGE lists. This breathtaking range of books demands imagination, energy and tremendous enthusiasm.
The ideal candidate will have experience of executing targeted and creative publicity campaigns. The role will involve planning and arranging interviews, placing features, securing reviews, and maintaining strong media contacts across print, online and broadcast. You’ll be able to devise and organise show-stopping, sales-driving events, signings and festival experiences.
Excellent communication skills are essential as you will work closely and effectively with the media, authors and agents, and a wide range of internal departments. Reporting to the Publicity Director, you will be meticulously organised and enjoy working as part of a busy team.
You will be confident and professional and able to use your initiative whilst remaining calm under pressure.
