We are recruiting for a Head of Amazon Operations to come on board and be responsible for the Penguin Random House UK Amazon Customer Account, from initial order through to payments.
This is a brand new role within the company and will report directly in to the Head of Customer Service. You will proactively manage all areas of the Amazon operational business with particular focus on improving compliance through identifying the root cause of issues and implementing resolutions.
The Head of Amazon Operations is vital to the success of the Amazon account and to be successful you will combine both an operational and strategic mind-set. You’ll be the key interface with Amazon on all operational areas and will be tasked with building strong relationships with both internal departments alongside our Client Publishers.
You will take charge of managing all aspects of operational service delivery and will be able to identify challenges before they arise and investigate all areas of non-compliance, finding swift resolutions and working with the team to action them efficiently. You’ll also set meaningful KPI’s for the Amazon account and will track them against targets set, whilst motivating the team via your leadership to consistently achieve the best results.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience of working with Amazon or other large e-commerce retailers. A proven track record of managing end to end business processes as well as managing multi-functional teams is also essential.
