Production Controller

Phaidon is the premier global publisher of the creative arts with over 1,500 titles in print. We work with the world's most influential artists, chefs, writers and thinkers to produce innovative books on art, photography, design, architecture, fashion, food and travel, and illustrated books for children.

We are looking for a multi-skilled Production Controller to work as part of our global production team. The successful candidate will work primarily on Phaidon foreign language, co-editions and reprints, but will also be involved with Wallpaper City Guides, preparation of files for licensed sales, and general support as required. 

Reporting to the Senior Production Controller, you will be a clear communicator with excellent multi-tasking skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and to deliver products to our exacting quality standards, on time and to budget.

1-2 years previous experience of working in a book production environment, with strong understanding of print production processes, InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite skills are essential. 

A demonstrable passion for illustrated book production is a must.
