Production Controller, Phaidon Press, London

Phaidon Press is seeking a multi-talented Production Controller to join their award winning global production team.  Working closely with the London and New York Editorial and Design teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for the complete production process of a range of front list titles, from concept to delivery.

With a minimum of 3–5 years previous experience working in a four-colour book production environment, you will have an amazing eye for colour and the ability to realise design visions at the very highest quality levels. 

Essential skills will include a strong understanding of four-colour repro, printing, binding and finishing techniques, alongside a strong working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Excel.  You will be a clear communicator with: excellent multi-tasking skills; the ability to work in a fast paced environment; to problem solve at the highest levels; and to deliver products to our exacting quality standards, on time and to budget.
