Contracts Manager (part time) Profile Books Ltd

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Profile Books, an award-wining independent publisher, as their first Contracts Manager. You will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating standard terms with a variety of agents and drafting and checking contracts for authors across the Profile, Serpent’s Tail, Souvenir, and Wellcome lists, from British agents to US publishers. Working particularly closely with our Finance Director and the Publisher of Profile, you will have relevant experience and be highly organised with a great attention to detail and an interest in managing systems and supporting a range of editors. Versatility is a must, as is knowledge of, and interest in, the fine print.
