Sales and Publishing Coordinator

Quarto Publishing is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Sales and Publishing Coordinator. Quarto Publishing – the original co-edition list in The Quarto Group – produces illustrated books with a well-deserved reputation for style and quality. The main focus of its list is art instruction (look at the best-selling Kawaii: How to Draw Cute series) crafts, and wellness, although Quarto publishes into many other illustrated categories, including MBS, music, history, gift, lifestyle, and reference.

You will manage the backlist English Language sales programme, working closely with the Publisher. You will also coordinate with in-house production, foreign sales, editorial and design departments in a range of varied tasks. The successful candidate will be a highly organised and efficient team player and will thrive on developing and maintaining systems. Excellent numeracy, admin and communication skills are a must.

A minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in illustrated publishing is preferable, but not essential. Salary is dependent on experience.
