Field Sales Executive - Education -North England/Scotland/Ireland

Are you an experienced and successful sales professional looking for a new and exciting sales role within educational/cademic publishing? We are looking for a highly motivated individual to cover the North/Scotland/Ireland territories to represent a leading educational publishing organisation. You will achieve financial targets by developing and maintaining sales of their digital collections to academic and public libraries within the territory.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Create and implement sales strategies for the territory
  • Plan and attend customer meetings
  • Represent the company at key industry events such as conferences, exhibitions and trade shows
  • Grow and maintain extensive product knowledge of a large and growing product list

With a customer-focused attitude and a consultative approach to selling, you will maximize sales, and represent the company in gaining new business development opportunities and provide market feedback and intelligence.

Educated to degree level you will have significant field sales experience, ideally from the library, education or publishing market.  Your consultative approach to selling will be essential for hitting targets. You will be working closely with the rest of the sales team and with other departments, therefore strong communication skills and an enthusiastic approach are essential.

A valid driving license is essential as is the flexibility to be able to travel within the territory. This role will be home based and carries a generous salary and OTE plus car allowance and other benefits.
